Visit Drift in the Off Season, and experience our little seaside hamlet in a whole new way. The Swedes say "There is no bad weather, only bad clothing". Embrace the cooler days. Rug up and get outdoors for long walks on the beach, along the river or meander through the dune reserve... Exhilarating! Return to Drift with the winter sun pouring through floor to ceiling windows, light the fire, select a record from our eclectic vinyl collection, snuggle up. Repeat... with an extra night on us!
That's right, bunker down for longer...stay three nights, pay for two.
Take the time to curl up in our local woollen throws, grab a good book, play a board game, do a jigsaw puzzle. For the more adventurous, take a winter plunge in the ocean, then wash the salt water away in the hot outdoor shower. Don't worry, there's one inside too.
Slow down, breath in the crisp Tassie air. Tassie in summer is unhurried, even more so in winter. Your footprints in the sand will often be the only ones you'll see. Come and experience it for yourselves.
